Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon paprika , sweet + smoked, use more of one or the other based on heat preference. Smoky paprika is generally hotter.
- ½ - ¾ teaspoon cayenne
- 1.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1.5 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1.5 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt (optional)
- optional add ins for variation: crushed bay leaf, ¼ teaspoon ground mustard
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients and store in an airtight container for upto 3 months

I usually get some from the local world spice store which has organic spices. Frontier or simply organic or penzeys are great too
